The completion of IRON LADY's world cruising trip
In 2000 Nathalie Müller, KD7SVT, and Michael Wnuk, DL1JD/KD7SVU, both skippers and radio amateurs, started their circumnavigation with the SV Iron Lady. During their journey they reported almost daily stories about living aboard via PACTOR.

During their journey they reported almost daily stories about living aboard via PACTOR. Since Oktober 2001, with the introduction onto the market of PACTOR III, it was even possible to send daily pictures, as the amount of data, that could be transmitted, increased dramatically.

Those entries were send by WINLINK and SAILMAIL to the hosting server in Germany. Over 1 Million clicks clearly show the success of the project. A completely new Content Management System, developed by anyMOTION GmbH, convert the incoming mails into a dynamic internet page and publish therefore in seconds the real life content.
Beating the wind on the way to New Zealand
By now the system was copied numerously and is now standard for many yachts, who want to give their family and friends the opportunity to follow their way. Over 3000 entries did the young couple write and publish during their trip around the globe. Reviews and an interactive guest book complete the professional website.
Galapagos
Since June 2007 the two skippers are back to normal life in Germany with their two daughters, who were born during the journey. They currently work on a book ,that will be published in 2008 when the reknown yachting fair Boot in Düsseldorf is on schedule. The website is still open to everybody, who wants to follow IRON LADY’s steps, virtual or in reality. Just have a look under www.ironlady.de.
