How to get rid of PAC III software on my PTC-IIe

Ok, I downloaded the latest firmware for my PTC-IIe which is a pre 2002 model with no electronic serial number. Now I get a message that I have 20 free connects to evaluate PAC III.  I want my old software back but I cannot get it off of the web site. I do not have time to mess with my PTC-IIe sent in to be worked on. I am leaving to go cruising in 2 days. I never had a disk for the firmware because I bought the modem with my boat.  The web site says nothing about trial software before you download it. It would be alright if I can just use PAC II after the 20 connects but I do not know if it will let me do that?

Terry,

there is no problem at all, even after the use of the 20x P3 Trial connects, your modem continious to work in P2 mode without any nagscreens or limitations concerning P1 or P2.

In your case, I would use the P3 Trial connects only if you have trouble finding a P2 server due to bad propagation.
