My problem is that I like several products.  There is much to love about the SCS PTC-II family.  But at the same time I really like Timwave's DSP-232 with its DSP technology and the fact that it has a built in sound card.  This makes it easier to have several modes plus the fact that I would not have switch cables.

The other potential solution would be to have SCS either purchase Timewave or some other merger of the two companies.  But both companies are leaders (sorry but Kantronics just seems to not coming up with updated products). 

If SCS were to license Timewave, the upgrade of the PACTOR II/III technology should be about $300 more.

We are seeing alliances in other technical fields.  Why not here?
