PTC II upgrade

Posted by Newell Crary at Mar 16, 2010 04:01 PM

I hate to appear cheap, but I would like to upgrade to PIII and find I need to modify my controller so it will generate an electronic key.  I understand that this will require installing a circuit board.  Farallon says they will do it for $100 plus shipping.  In fact, they will do the whole upgrade to PIII for me for $300.  That seems awfully steep.  Is there any other way to upgrade?  Is the circuit board available anyplace?

Thanks for the help

Newell
