Jim Corenman, co-founder, sailor and HAM amateur radio operator, has designed the standard software application for communication at sail and motorboats. This he does without making profit and without advertising banners but purely the use of the maritime community… and that, hat off, for more than one decade. The software covers a mail client which can be understood simply, to optimize the needs on board the software covers a mail client which can be easily understood and is perfectly co-operates with the SCS PACTOR Modems. It is simple and functional to operate. Mail is written quickly and together with an integrated directory, put in the out box. A weather forecast is added on quickly as a Grib file. With a few fast and simple clicks the user can be connected to one of the many servers of the SAILMAIL or WINLINK networks. The software controls the SSB transceiver, automatically selects the frequency and tunes the antenna. Emailing on boats can be this simple. Airmail also frequently receives, the typical daily mails together with a weather forecast of the trip area, of which the co-ordinates are found automatically by the cruiser.
